Favorite recent sketch?
Susan’s Sketch: I absolutely love the chunky gold beads that we’ve been making! They are playful, versatile and a great way to set the extra tiny diamonds that our clients often have.
Tiziana’s Sketch: Heirloom cameos are some of my favorite materials to work with. It’s exciting to design new and modern ways to set them.
Recent inspirations?
→ Getting back into my favorite museums with my sketchbook! The Met and The Frick Collection are endless inspiration. Recently, I was so excited to see the exquisite enamel work of Susanne de Court at The Frick. She was active around 1600 and is thought to have been the only woman to lead a workshop in Limoges, France. Her pieces are incredibly detailed and colorful. It’s always a joy to see historic female artists recognized.
→ Lin and Daughters is one of my go-to restaurants in the city. It’s casual and the dumplings are exquisite! My husband and I eat there all the time. Over the past couple of years I’ve gotten to know the owner, Becky. She’s worked so hard to get the restaurant up and running. Her excitement and dedication really shows.
